Andy Warhol
A true original and a pioneer within art and music. Andy Warhol is known for his contribution to the pop art movement by exploring with bold colours – famously for creating ‘Marilyn Diptych’.
By default, Warhol is the godfather of vinyl artworks by designing ‘A Program of Mexican Music‘ in 1949, back when the LP album format began. He then continued to work on vinyl designs for the next 38 years, changing the game for vinyl designers. Becaof Warhol, records were no longer just about the music, it was about the artwork too.
The records above still remain the cheapest Warhol art available, cheap in relative price but not in distinctive artistic quality.
